LAS VEGAS (AP) - A man who was killed after a vehicle crashed and caught fire in Las Vegas has been identified.

KSNV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1GETMhJ) the Clark County coroner’s office says 33-year-old Roger Luna, of Las Vegas, died Friday at 6:50 a.m. after his car struck an Interstate 15 bridge support.

Authorities say Luna’s vehicle crashed while driving on a curve near Oakey and Western.

A fire erupted after the crash and Luna had to be extricated from the car.

He was taken to a hospital where he died.

Investigators believe speed was a contributing factor in the crash.

The official cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
