LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities have identified a man found stabbed to death in a west Las Vegas parking lot.

KSNV-TV reported (https://bit.ly/1M3gT2n) Saturday that the Clark County coroner’s office says 33-year-old Kristopher Schneider died of a stab wound to the chest and that his death was a homicide.

According to Las Vegas police, Schneider was stabbed in a shopping center parking lot Wednesday just before 6:30 p.m.

He was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Witnesses say they heard yelling and screaming in the parking lot before the stabbing.

Police say they are searching for a man and woman who were seen fleeing the area in a white car with tinted windows.
