MILLCREEK, Utah (AP) - Unified police are searching for a man suspected of several crimes, including shooting his brother and stealing $50,000 in fur coats in Park City.

Lt. Lex Bell says a SWAT team responded Friday afternoon to reports of shots fired at the Millcreek apartment shared by Christopher McMillan and his brother.

Bell says McMillan’s brother was located at a Layton hospital with a bullet wound in his foot.

According to Bell, the two had argued while McMillan’s wife, Veronica, waited outside.

The brother heard McMillan fire three shots outside and the two fought over the gun, resulting in the brother’s injured foot.

Christopher McMillan fled by car and the couple has not been seen since.

Bell says McMillan’s vehicle was spotted in surveillance images of an Oct. 22 fur coat theft.
