GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - The Weld County Sheriff’s Office says five people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a Pierce woman disappeared in September.

Cpl. Matt Turner says the arrests were made in a joint investigation with the Ault Police Department into the disappearance of 34-year-old Tera Lewandowski.

Authorities said previously that Lewandowski’s disappearance was suspicious, but Ault Police Chief Rich Strang declined to comment about the specifics of the case, citing an ongoing investigation.
