CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A Casper teenager has pleaded guilty to trying to run over his friend with a car because he was angry.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1Z7eKM9 ) that 17-year-old Trevor Scott Tyree, who is being charged as an adult, pleaded guilty on Monday to possession, manufacture or disposition of a deadly weapon with unlawful intent.

A plea agreement with prosecutors asks for three to five years in prison. Prosecutors will also recommend that Tyree participate in a boot camp program for young offenders.

Prosecutors say Tyree and the victim had an argument in August and the victim shot Tyree with a paintball gun. Tyree left the victim’s home. When the victim walked outside, Tyree drove a vehicle at the house, narrowly avoiding hitting the victim.
