KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - A man near Olney killed a grizzly bear after it attacked him.

The Daily Inter Laker reports (https://bit.ly/1hopS5a ) that the man called Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials Saturday to report that he killed the bear after it attacked him.

Wildlife officials say there were no injuries.

This is the latest in a rash of conflicts between humans and bears. Wildlife officials say bears have become more active as they seek food before winter hibernation.
