ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - St. Paul police say a man was fatally shot as he unloaded a car with his teenage daughter.

Police say the shooter approached the 54-year-old man on foot, shot him and then fled. The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. Monday on St. Paul’s East Side.

Authorities on Tuesday identified the victim as 54-year-old Htoo Baw of St. Paul. Baw was taken to Regions Hospital, where he died. His daughter was not hurt.

The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1JQkBKr ) reports about 18 minutes before the shooting, another man was shot in the arm a few blocks away. The man is expected to live.

A police spokesman says police are treating the two shootings as related. No arrests have been made.

This story has been corrected to show the non-fatal shooting happened before the fatal shooting instead of after.
