MILFORD, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have charged a man with robbing a gas station in Milford.

Troopers say about 7:10 p.m. on Friday, a man went into a Shore Stop on Bay Road and asked a clerk for a pack of cigarettes. When the clerk opened the cash register to make change, police say the robber implied he had a weapon and demanded money.

Investigators say the clerk gave the man money, and the robber fled.

Troopers say after getting tips from the public they identified a suspect. Police say a search of the suspect’s home turned up clothing used in robberies.

Thirty-one-year-old Justin McGaha of Frederica was arrested and charged with robbery.
