LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say two men - one of whom couldn’t swim - have been rescued after floating for hours in a tiny raft miles off the Southern California coast.

The Orange County Register (https://bit.ly/1hryQhZ ) says the men were rescued Tuesday two miles off of Laguna Beach.

County fire Capt. Steve Concialdi says the men - cousins from El Monte - became stranded in an inflatable, one-person raft that was towing an inner tube.

They went into the ocean in Corona del Mar and the current took them out to sea. Concialdi says they weren’t able to paddle back to shore or flag down boats for help.

They were finally rescued more than six hours later.

One man was treated for hypothermia, dehydration and low blood pressure.
