SIOUX CITY, Iowa (AP) - The Children’s Museum of Siouxland, which is still under construction in Sioux City, will launch its membership drive Nov. 1.

Museum Director Bob Fitch tells the Sioux City Journal (https://bit.ly/1L6rk4z ) that the $6.9 million facility is expected to open in early February. Most of the museum’s exhibits will focus on agricultural education, renewable energy and consumer science for ages 6-10.

Daily admission for the museum, open Tuesday through Sunday, will be $8. A family membership will cost $85 annually, and will give a family unlimited admissions during the year, plus some special perks.

Fitch also says the museum will be a member of the Association of Children’s Museums. That will give Sioux City museum members reciprocal membership at participating museums, which usually means half-price admission.
