TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tulsa police have arrested a 16-year-old boy on a murder complaint in the shooting death of an 18-year-old man.

Sgt. Dave Walker says in a news release that the teenager and another juvenile were identified as suspects in the Monday shooting of Tomas Rodriguez in north Tulsa. Rodriguez was found with a gunshot wound inside his wrecked car that police say he had used to chase both juveniles after the two apparently tried to burglarize Rodriguez’s home.

Police say Rodriguez later died at a Tulsa hospital and that the suspect was questioned that day and released, but was arrested Tuesday after more evidence was found, including the weapon believed to have been used in the shooting.

Police say the second juvenile was also questioned but has not been arrested.
