SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a 21-year-old Syracuse man was shot Wednesday night by two men riding by on a bicycle.

The shooting happened on the city’s crime-ridden south side around 8:30 p.m. Authorities tell The Post-Standard of Syracuse (https://bit.ly/1Ono5KD ) that two men wearing grey hooded sweat shirts rode by the man on a single bicycle, and one of the men fired several shots at the victim, hitting him once in the arm.

The wounded man was taken by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.

There is no detailed description of the suspects. Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to 315-442-5222.
