LAS VEGAS (AP) - Chick-Fil-A plans to open its first las Vegas store just west of the Strip next year.

KVVU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1OnEIY4 ) that the Las Vegas City Council on Wednesday approved plans for the company to open its new location next year.

The Atlanta-based company announced in June that it would open its first southern Nevada store by early 2017. It also said it plans to open up to 10 locations in Nevada over the next five years.
