FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - People who sustained losses in July storms in Kentucky have a few more days to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency for assistance.

Anyone who hasn’t registered for disaster relief following the storms in Breathitt, Carter, Fleming, Johnson, Leslie, Perry, Rowan and Trimble counties has until Monday to do so.

Assistance is available for housing, including temporary rental and money for essential home repairs, and other assistance for disaster-related costs, including medical, transportation, moving and other expenses.

To register, visit https://DisasterAssistance.gov or call FEMA at (800) 621-3362, TTY at (800) 462-7585 or Video Relay Service at (800) 621-3362.

To apply with the Small Business Administration, visit https://www.disasterloan.sba.gov . The deadline for physical damages is Monday, and the final date to seek aid for economic injury is May 12.
