NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - The former state director for New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte pleaded guilty to attempted lewdness following his April arrest in a Nashua prostitution sweep.

The Telegraph of Nashua reports (https://bit.ly/1FUD6SU ) 62-year-old David Wihby will pay a $1,000 fine as part of an agreement with prosecutors that carries no jail or prison time.

The Manchester resident was one of 10 men charged with soliciting prostitutes at two Nashua hotels.

Ayotte said at the time that she was shocked over Wihby’s arrest and had accepted his resignation as her state director.
