BOSTON (AP) - Two large sheep built entirely from foam and packing peanuts are now floating in Boston Harbor.

The Boston Globe reports (https://bit.ly/1QZ92G5 ) the Boston Rowing Center on Tuesday towed the sheep to a spot between the Congress and Summer street bridges.

Artist Hilary Zelson created the art display, called “Who Wears Wool,” which pays homage to the area’s former wool trade. The sheep sit upon a 12-foot-by-12-foot artificial turf-covered floating dock. The larger sheep is 10 feet tall and 14 feet long. The smaller sheep stands at 5 feet tall.

Zelson’s project was picked by a panel of judges after the Fort Point Arts Community asked for artist proposals that could create a prominent display that connects the neighborhood’s arts community with its residents and visitors.
