RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A state office building is closed due to a small fire.

The James Madison Building on Capitol Square in Richmond was evacuated Thursday after a fire triggered a sprinkler system.

Department of General Services spokesman Dena Potter says fire crews were called just before 1:30 p.m. She says there were no injuries reported.

The state hopes to reopen the building, which is located on Governor Street, on Tuesday.
