VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) - Authorities say that three men have been arrested after an early morning shooting on Interstate 264 in Virginia Beach.

No one was injured in the shooting that took place around 2 a.m. Friday, but a vehicle was damaged.

Police say a trooper pursued a vehicle, which he identified as a suspect, after hearing gunshots. Around the same time, a man reported that his car had been shot several times and its tires had been flattened.

Stefan Idele of Newport News has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, shooting from a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license. Charles Weeks and Chadon Burton, the two passengers, have been charged with shooting from a motor vehicle.

The three men are being held without bond at Virginia Beach Jail.
