ST. MARYS, Pa. (AP) - A central Pennsylvania man has been killed after his tractor rolled over and landed on top of him in a ditch.

The Elk County coroner says 58-year-old Michael Schatz, of St. Marys, was pronounced dead Wednesday morning. He was working on his farm at the time in St. Marys, which is about 100 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

A neighbor reported seeing Schatz pinned beneath the tractor about 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, but says he didn’t know how long Schatz might have been pinned by the tractor.

He died of head and chest injuries.
