LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities in Las Vegas have identified a 71-year-old woman whose body was found last month stuffed in a duffel bag in an underground utility vault in Las Vegas.
The Clark County coroner said Friday a cause and manner of death for Young Suk Sanchez was still being investigated.
Police Officer Michael Rodriguez said detectives weren’t immediately releasing more information about the investigation.
Sanchez’s decomposed body was found by a utility worker Sept. 22 wedged into a water district valve locker with a broken lock on the cover.
Officials said a human hand was seen before homicide detectives were summoned to the site off Nellis Boulevard between Twain Avenue and Flamingo Road southeast of downtown.
