SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - A former student at American River College in Sacramento has been arrested for allegedly making a violent threat against the campus.

Twenty-one-year-old Kristofer Wayne Clark of Sacramento was arrested Thursday on suspicion of making threats to commit a crime resulting in death or bodily injury.

He remains jailed Friday on $250,000 bail. It’s not immediately clear whether he has an attorney.

The college says a student alerted a staff member on Thursday that Clark had spoken about carrying out a threat against the campus the next day. Clark was arrested at his workplace.

Details of the alleged threat haven’t been released but police say it didn’t target any specific person or group and the motive is unclear.
