WRENTHAM, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts woman described by co-workers as “grandmotherly” has pleaded guilty to stealing from the apartment complex management company she worked for.

The Sun Chronicle (https://bit.ly/1L3FmGi ) reports that 65-year-old Dorothea Bulger, of Foxborough, received a two-year suspended sentence on Thursday.

She must also turn over her pension worth more than $100,000 to Mayfair Realty & Development and pay them $65 a month for three years.

Bulger was accused of stealing $133,000, but prosecutors say the true figure was $350,000.

Vice President of Operations Rich Feeley called Bulger “nothing more than a fraud, a liar and a common thief.”

She apologized in court.

Mayfair owns and operates three apartment complexes.
