JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A Pearl River County grand jury has indicted a Poplarville man on three counts of embezzlement.

Attorney General Jim Hood, in a news release Friday, said 47-year-old Paul Bradley Holliday turned himself in to authorities Wednesday following an investigation by his Public Integrity Division.

Holliday allegedly embezzled $268,965 between 2006 and 2009 while employed with a construction company in Poplarville.

If convicted, Holliday faces up to 20 years in prison and a $25,000 fine for counts one and two, and up to five years and $5,000 on the third count.

He is free on $25,000 bond. It was unknown if he has an attorney who could comment on the case.
