MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia University’s marching band will soon be wearing new uniforms.

The uniforms will make their debut on Saturday during the football team’s homecoming game against Oklahoma State.

The university says the design of the new uniform features a larger flying WV logo on the front, reversible capes and helmets with interchangeable gold, blue and white plumes.

The university says the WVU Foundation helped raise $200,000 since July to help pay for the 500 uniforms. The uniforms were last replaced in 2006 after a similar fundraising campaign.
