HAMPTON, Ga. (AP) - The sheriff in Henry County said he expect a rapid investigation into hate graffiti that targeted several neighborhoods.

WXIA-TV reports (https://on.11alive.com/1ICNEjV ) that vandals painted racist, homophobic and anti-Semitic messages on more than 20 properties over the weekend. Video appeared to show teenagers running through the area.

The victims met Monday with county leaders, the local chapter of the NAACP and an economic development organization.

Henry County Sheriff Keith McBrayer said he expects a quick investigation that will wrap up soon.
