NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say a worker has fallen to his death on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Police say the 30-year-old man fell onto the second floor scaffolding of a building on East 76th Street near Second Avenue. It happened at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the man was found unconscious and unresponsive and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man’s name has not yet been released.

Police are still investigating the incident.
