GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Harrison County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Louisiana man on a stolen property charge after OnStar notified authorities that a stolen pickup truck was in Harrison County.

Chief Deputy Landi Phillips tells The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/1UjqI5l) 54-year-old said Robert Lee Guidry, of Vinton, Louisiana, was driving a stolen GMC Sierra last week when deputies stopped the truck on Canal Road near Interstate 10. The truck was reported stolen from Vinton.

Deputies arrested him on a charge of receiving stolen property. Justice Court Judge Melvin Ray set bond at $100,000.

Guidry remains in custody.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Guidry.
