LANCASTER, Wis. (AP) - Lancaster police say five people were taken to a hospital after allegedly smoking synthetic marijuana.

WMTV-TV (https://bit.ly/1igUlTQ ) reports police and emergency medical services were dispatched around 7 p.m. Monday on a report of a person having a seizure. When an officer arrived, he saw a second person having seizures.

According to a police news release, five people were taken to Grant Regional Health Center. Four of the subjects were teenagers and one was 55 years old.

Authorities say they found synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the basement.
