HOMEWOOD, Ala. (AP) - Police in Homewood are investigating a morning bank robbery.

Al.com reports (https://bit.ly/1UpqRPm ) the BBVA Compass Bank on State Farm Parkway was robbed at about 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the robber fled the bank on foot. Witnesses said he appeared to be in his late teen or early 20s and had long brown hair that may have been a wig. It was not immediately known if the robber was armed.

Police brought in tracking dogs and were stopping some traffic in the area where the dogs were trying to pick up the robber’s scent.

Witnesses told police they spotted two other men outside the bank who may have been involved.
