SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A western Massachusetts man arrested with three others following a drug raid has pleaded not guilty to illegal possession charges.

The Republican reports (https://bit.ly/1Jz97OB ) 41-year-old Anthony Brantley, of Springfield, was arraigned Monday in Springfield District Court. He is being held on $50,000 bail.

Prosecutors say Brantley and three others were arrested Friday after police raided a Noel Street home and seized oxycodone pills, marijuana bagged for distribution, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.

Prosecutors say Brantley sold cocaine and narcotic painkillers to an informant who had been working with investigators.

Authorities said Brantley and 40-year-old Julisa McLeod of Springfield were identified as targets of the raid. McLeod was released on $5,000 bail after her attorney argued she never sold drugs to the informant.

The case is set to continue Sept. 30.
