WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) - Runways were temporarily closed at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut on Tuesday evening after officials said a military plane had a tire malfunction during landing.

No injuries were reported.

Airport officials said the Air National Guard C-130 transport landed around 6 p.m. Airport spokeswoman Alisa Sisic said it landed in an area that required the shutdown of other runways to move it out of the way of other traffic.

One runway reopened for departures at around 7 p.m. The airport was fully reopened by 8 p.m.

A few delays and cancellations were reported at mid-evening.

The airport near Hartford also serves the Springfield, Massachusetts, area.
