WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Police say a woman injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Worcester two weeks ago has died.

Police announced Tuesday that 23-year-old Paola Alba died Sunday as a result of injuries sustained in the Aug. 19 crash.

Alba was a passenger on an ATV operated by a 24-year-old Worcester man who was charged after the accident with offenses including operating to endanger and speeding.

The investigation is ongoing and police say the operator may face additional charges in light of the woman’s death.

Authorities say the SATV was among a group of ATVs and dirt bikes doing wheelies and swerving on a road when it went out of control and flipped five or six times.
