WALNUT, Calif. (AP) - An estimated $400,000 worth of marijuana plants illegally grown in a Walnut residence have been seized by Los Angeles County authorities.

A Sheriff’s Department statement says investigators served a search warrant at the house Thursday, finding an elaborate marijuana growing system with equipment to prevent odor from escaping from the house.

Machines that require a large amount of electricity were illegally wired, creating a fire hazard.

Two men were arrested in the on-going investigation.
