COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Lynches River Contracting has been awarded nine contracts in South Carolina totaling $15.6 million and two contracts in North Carolina totaling $11.5 million since this spring. A breakdown:

In South Carolina:

-$3 million for resurfacing in Chester, Fairfield and York counties

-$2.1 million, resurfacing in York County

-$2.7 million, resurfacing in Kershaw, Lee and Sumter counties

-$1.7 million, patching in Calhoun, Clarendon and Orangeburg counties

-$1.6 million, resurfacing in Chesterfield and Lancaster counties

-$1.4 million, resurfacing in Dillon and Marion counties

-$1.1 million, intersection improvement in York County

-$1.1 million, resurfacing in Kershaw County

-$948,818, patching in Richland County

In North Carolina:

- $8.8 million, road widening in Union County

-$2.7 million, resurfacing in Union County
