ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - An Albany man has pleaded guilty to felony drug possession charges stemming from a wild police chase in April that ended with him attempting to flush drugs down a toilet.

The Times Union of Albany reports (https://bit.ly/1UIIZE9 ) 27-year-old Natural Joseph entered the guilty plea Wednesday in Albany County Court.

The incident began when Joseph was stopped by police on April 10 for riding a dirt bike without a license plate or a helmet.

Prosecutors say Joseph fled and ran into a house on Jennings Drive, where he fought with an officer in the home’s kitchen and bathroom.

While in the bathroom, Joseph attempted to flush two ounces of crack cocaine down the toilet, but it clogged.

Joseph faces up to five years in prison at sentencing Nov. 4.
