DETROIT (AP) - Authorities say the last two of four teens who escaped last month from a halfway house on Detroit’s east side have been captured.

The Wayne County Department of Health, Veterans and Community Wellness says a 17-year-old and 16-year-old were apprehended this week.

Another 17-year-old and another 16-year-old were apprehended last week.

According to police, a security worker was pushed down during the Aug. 27 escape when he opened the front door for visiting ministers to leave. The teens fled on foot in different directions on East Grand Boulevard. Police say they had been convicted of “various crimes.”

The escape is under investigation.
