FORESTVILLE, Mich. (AP) - Authorities are seeking help from the public after finding a boat partially submerged in Lake Huron that was owned by a 60-year-old man who was reported missing by his wife.

The Macomb County sheriff’s department says Thursday the search is ongoing for Patrick Presutti of Macomb Township after the boat was found Monday. Investigators are seeking tips from the public.

A freighter crew reported seeing the bow of the 31-foot Sea Ray Sundancer. The Sanilac County sheriff’s department was called to assist and says it appeared to have been intentionally sunk. Macomb County authorities have said he may be missing voluntarily.

The boat was found about 7½ miles east of the Sanilac County community of Forestville. Presutti left home Aug. 29 and was reported missing by his wife Sept. 1.
