SUFFOLK, Va. (AP) - Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System is breaking ground in Suffolk on its newest medical facility.

The Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Plaza will house the Bon Secours Cancer Institute at Harbour View.

The groundbreaking event takes place Thursday. Speakers include Suffolk Mayor Linda T. Johnson and Bon Secours senior leadership.

The 58,000 square-foot, two-story Medical Plaza reflects a $20 million investment and is scheduled to open in Fall 2016. The new Bon Secours Cancer Institute will house cancer patient care needs with the ability to make diagnoses, provide outpatient treatment and offer follow up care.
