GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - A 9-year-old boy who was a passenger in an SUV that rolled on Interstate 76 near Hudson has died, bringing the death toll from Sunday’s accident to three.

According to The Greeley Tribune, (https://bit.ly/1EZweD5 ) the Weld County Coroner’s Office said 9-year-old Alberto Cano-Villela of Lochbuie (lok-boo-wee) was pronounced brain dead Wednesday night.

The single-vehicle rollover also killed two other children - 8-year-old Mia Cano-Villela, also of Lochbuie, and 12-year-old Alex Rodriguez of Aurora.

The driver of the SUV, 32-year-old Luis Rodriguez-Sanchez, suffered life-threatening injuries and remains hospitalized. State troopers suspect he was speeding when he lost control of his vehicle.

Two other passengers were also injured.
