BAY POINT, Calif. (AP) - Four homes were damaged and seven people were injured in a massive fire north of San Francisco

KRON reports (https://bit.ly/1MdYHrs ) that the Contra Costa County Fire Department battled the fire early Thursday morning in Bay Point.

Fire officials say the fire was contained Thursday morning. Two homes were damaged and two others were destroyed in the blaze.

One person suffered from minor burns and six other people suffered from smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Damage estimates were not available Thursday.
