HASTINGS, Neb. (AP) - A Florida man and woman who authorities say led officers on a chase through three southern Nebraska counties have taken plea deals for reduced charges.

Prosecutors say 31-year-old Keri Ansley and 34-year-old Christopher White, both of Milton, Florida, led law enforcement through Adams, Kearney and Webster counties in March before running out of gas. Officers say the two had a firearm and methamphetamine with them.

The Grand Island Independent reports (https://bit.ly/1L49l2p ) that White pleaded no contest and was convicted Wednesday of distribution of a controlled substance, attempted possession of a firearm by a felon and operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest. His sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 12.

Court records say Ansley has pleaded no contest and been convicted of drug possession. Her sentencing is set for Oct. 13.
