LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles firefighters have extinguished a fire that raged for more than two hours in a Van Nuys commercial building.

More than 160 firefighters responded early Thursday to the blaze in the large, one-story structure.

Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says several businesses were heavily damaged.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the loss have yet to be determined.
