NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - A federal judge has sentenced an Oklahoma developer to nearly three years in prison after he conspired to defraud a bank of more than $1 million.

The Tulsa World (https://bit.ly/1JYEbre ) reports that 69-year-old Bruce Carlton Wright was sentenced Tuesday to 33 months in prison. His sentence also includes a criminal forfeiture money judgment of nearly $1.2 million.

Wright and another person were charged last August with conspiring to submit fraudulent invoices to IBC Bank for work not performed on a property in northwest Arkansas.

According to court documents, the two turned in invoices that were misleading about whether work was complete and how much of the work was finished.
