CINCINNATI (AP) - He led the Cincinnati Bengals to a Super Bowl. But can he lead a chicken dance?

Longtime quarterback Ken Anderson has been named grand marshal for the annual Oktoberfest Zinzinnati celebration. The 66-year-old grand marshal’s key duty will be leading what organizers claim is “the world’s largest chicken dance” on downtown’s Fountain Square.

Anderson played his entire 16-year-old pro football career with the Bengals, and led the 1981 team to the Bengals’ first Super Bowl appearance (and loss).

Former Cincinnati Reds stars Joe Morgan and Tom Browning have also served as grand marshals on an eclectic list that last year added singing brothers Nick and Drew Lachey (Luh-SHAY’).

Oktoberfest celebrates the city’s German heritage and is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors Sept. 18-20.
