MIDVALE, Utah (AP) - Authorities say three people have been arrested after a stolen car crashed into a home near Salt Lake City.

KSL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1JYA91X ) officers had been tracking the stolen car overnight and followed it onto Interstate 215 Thursday morning.

An officer tried to pull the car over after it exited the freeway, but the driver didn’t stop.

The driver eventually crashed into the front door of a home in Midvale.

Police arrested two passengers after they exited the car. Lt. Lex Bell of the Unified Police Department says the driver tried to escape through the house. He was found on a roof of a neighboring house and arrested.

No one inside the house was injured.

Homeowner Steve Carpenter says this isn’t the first time a car has crashed into his home.
