No. 13 UCLA (1-0) at UNLV (0-1) 10:35 p.m. (CBS Sports Network)

Line: UCLA by 30.

Series Record: First meeting.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

UCLA arrives at Sam Boyd Stadium after a 34-16 win over Virginia and looks to avoid a letdown against what has been one of the worst Division I programs the past two decades. The Rebels have never defeated an AP ranked team at home (0-16).

KEY MATCHUP

UCLA QB Josh Rosen vs. UNLV defense. Rosen, who was named the Walter Camp National Player of the Week on offense, completed 28 of 35 passes for 351 yards and three touchdowns in last week’s victory over Virginia. Rosen faces a defense that allowed 545 yards (360 passing) to Northern Illinois in last week’s 38-30 loss.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

UCLA: LB Myles Jack. Ranked second on the team in tackles with 88 last season, Jack was credited with seven total tackles last week against Virginia. The standout linebacker can be destructive on both sides of the ball. Jack, the first player in Pac-12 Conference history to be selected both Freshman Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, scored his 11th career offensive touchdown against the Cavaliers.

UNLV: WR Devonte Boyd. The 2014 Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year is QB Blake Decker’s top target. Boyd hauled in five passes for 107 yards and one touchdown against Northern Illinois. It marked his fourth 100-yard game. His first came against Arizona.
