CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Wood products and building materials supplier 84 Lumber Co. has closed three stores in West Virginia.

Company spokesman Jeff Nobers says in a news release that stores in Belle, Mineral Wells and Ripley closed on Tuesday.

Nobers says a total of 18 employees at the three stores will be offered jobs at other 84 Lumber locations. The company has stores in more than a dozen other locations in West Virginia.

Media outlets report the company is closing a total of 10 stores nationwide, while it plans to add a minimum of 10 stores in 2016.
