PHOENIX (AP) - Flags at Arizona state office buildings are flying at half-staff Friday in remembrance of the lives lost in the Sept. 11 terror attacks 14 years ago.

Gov. Doug Ducey ordered the flag-lowering to run from sunrise to sunset on what he called a poignant anniversary for all Americans to pay tribute to “the innocent lives taken from us.”

Ducey said thoughts and prayers also should remember the four Americans killed Sept. 2012 at a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya.
