CINCINNATI (AP) - Cincinnati-based grocery chain Kroger Co. has opened what it says is its biggest store yet.

The Cincinnati Enquirer (https://cin.ci/1J0GS7Q ) reports the $28 million store opened on Thursday morning in the city’s Oakley neighborhood.

The 145,000-square-foot store has a bulk natural foods department, a beer growler and wine bar, a baby center and a pharmacy with two drive-thru lanes.

The store, which employs 375 people, also has a fuel center and a jewelry store.

A number of local celebrities, including the Cincinnati Reds’ announcers, will appear at the store at various times through Sunday.
