GREER, S.C. (AP) - An Israeli company that makes packaging materials is investing more than $5 million in a new plant in Greenville County, creating just over 60 jobs.

Aran Packaging says the Greer plant will be its first in the United States. Aran also has plants in Israel and Spain and employs about 180 workers worldwide.

The company will be renovating an existing building near Interstate 85. The plant is expected to be operating next July.

The company says it plans to create 63 jobs over five years.
